The
Blagaj Tekija (Dervish monastery) near Mostar stands at the edge of Vrelo Bune,
a karstic spring and the source of the Buna River. The river flows west for
approximately 9 kilometers and joins the Neretva. The Blagaj Tekija was built
around 1520, with elements of Ottoman and Mediterranean architecture. Now it functions as a museum and a place to
take a Turkish coffee.
